The Robert W. Plaster Center at Pittsburg State University is a state-of-the-art facility that will host a variety of university and community events. Pittsburgh State University wanted to construct a multi-event indoor athletic center, Nationwide Construction came in highly recommended and construction began on February 2014.

Project size: 154,000 Square Feet
Project Budget: $11,600,000

Commercial construction combining tilt-wall and metal exterior materials; interior finishings included 100-yard turf field, an 11,000-square-foot modern strength facility, a 300-meter track and seating for up to 1,500. It also includes locker rooms for men’s and women’s track & field and football, offices and meeting rooms.

Completed in April 2015 and located in Pittsburg KS, this project is the largest indoor collegiate sports facility in the state of Kansas. The 154,000 square foot PSU indoor sports facility was constructed using a pre-engineered building. This industrial facility will host the indoor NCAA Div II track and field events as well as provide the football team with a climate controlled practice facility.
